Louise&Dexter FR

For both of them, playing becomes a declaration offered to the other, a vow renewed in music

The duo

Louise&Dexter

Madame Classique and Monsieur Jazz

On stage as in life, Louise&Dexter make an unexpected pair. United by music and by love, they set jazz and classical music in conversation on a single piano, four hands. From this union comes a musical and human chemistry that feels completely natural. You only need to see and hear them to swear they were made for each other.

Dexter Goldberg

“I can't play classical pieces.”

Born in Paris in 1987 into a family of musicians, Dexter started on percussion and discovered the piano at 16, teaching himself. A graduate of the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP), he composes and leads his own trio: Tell Me Something New (2018), praised by Jazz Magazine, then Caliboudja (2023), a Jazz Magazine “Choc”, rated TTT by Télérama and named among the 40 best albums of the year.

“Dexter doesn't just jazz up these classical classics: he reinvents them, takes them apart and puts them back together with as much humour as conviction”
